Wilder Flower

Passing thru on tour out of the Carolinas, The Wilder Flower stop by The Idiot for a special early show! The Wilder Flower play original bluegrass/americana/roots music, featuring artfully layered vocals and inspired instrumentals. Madeline Dierauf and Molly Johnson have been building a sound together since meeting in 2021 at the Hagood Mill Fiddlers Convention, where they have each taken home multiple blue ribbons. Joined in 2025 by guitarist Audrey Neel, their musical chemistry was immediate and they’ve been refining their sound and show ever since. They bring an original blend of three-part harmonies, instrumental prowess, and dynamic storytelling, encompassing a fresh take on Appalachian music.
